01 / How It Works
Cut sheet laser printers produce folios printed three, four or five booklets to view. The operator feeds each folio at the guillotine, and from there every booklet is cut, stitched, bound and delivered automatically, controlled from a single centralised touchscreen.
Folios are placed on the registration infeed table. Photocell registration aligns each folio beneath the hydraulic blade, and infeed fingers index it forward cut after cut until every booklet is separated.
A pneumatic arm transfers each booklet to the reciprocating main track. Deluxe G20 heads insert two stitches 6 mm from the spine, with stitch-detect verification on every book.
Hot-melt tape is formed around the spine in three heated stages: applied to the top surface, folded down the spine, then wiped across the underside for a clean, tamper-evident finish.
Completed booklets are delivered onto the output conveyor, ready for final inspection, packaging, or on-line wrapping and enveloping.

Integrity & Verification
Replaces manual loading with automatic feeding and collating, then verifies every sheet before stitching for 100% document integrity. Combined with Cheksafe it forms the Cheksure system.
On-line Mailing
Wraps finished booklets in a pillow pack with two end seals and a single long seal, giving a fully automatic, space-saving on-line mailing facility.
Inserter Integration
Taped books are transferred one at a time onto your inserter, so they go straight into envelopes. A bridging conveyor lets both machines also run independently.
Site Services
Where no suitable on-site compressed air supply is available, a matched compressor unit can be supplied with the system.
